Security Consultant & Expert Witness

Alan W. Zajic is a Security Consultant with over 25 years of experience in the security industry primarily in the casino/hotel environment. He has held positions from entry level security officer to executive director in Nevada casinos. Additional experience includes the contract security industry servicing the hospitality, retail, health care, special event, and apartment environments.

His security experience includes the areas of hotels, casinos, retail operations, nightclubs, bars, theaters, parking lots & garages, special events, surveillance, entertainment, dignitary protection, asset protection, guest protection, arrest and detention, investigation, supervision and training.

As an expert witness he has been accepted in Nevada courts in the casino/hotel and in residential apartment environments and has case experience in convenience retail, motel/hotel, bars, dance halls and parking area facilities.

He has a proven track record of favorable verdicts, effective direct and cross examination, and positive results in settlement negotiations.

Certifications or specialized training in the areas of security, risk management, loss control, and casino management. Additional specialized training in investigation, anti-terrorism, narcotics, workplace violence, security related civil law, emergency operations to include planning and disaster recovery, dignitary protection, crime prevention, guest protection and others.

He is licensed pursuant to Nevada Revised statutes 648 to perform all aspects of secruity consulting (including forensic security consulting) in the state of Nevada by holding licenses for Private Investigator and Private Patrolman (contract security operations).
